Job summary

We are seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Finance/Accounting Supervisor and join its dynamic team. This role reports to and supports the Finance and Business Development Managers in delivering efficient financial and administrative services. The position comes with a three-month probationary period.

Min Qualification: HND Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll administration for employees and staff seconded to clients’ offices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and entries of all financial transactions in the Accounting System.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, track payments/refunds, and provide tax-related guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Business Managers to evaluate financial performance, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Attend client meetings to discuss financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager.
  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate selection, and staff orientation.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to enhance administrative operations and organizational effectiveness.


Requirements:

  • HND or First Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Management.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting/payroll software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, Sage).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
