Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Compute and reconcile sales, revenue, and related financial transactions.
- Manage and reconcile inventory records, stock movements, purchases, and balances.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Apply relevant tax laws and ensure accurate tax computations and statutory compliance.
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for tax filings and financial reviews.
- Identify discrepancies in sales, inventory, and financial records and resolve them promptly.
- Assist management with financial analysis and accounting-related decisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant accounting experience
- Strong practical knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, tax computation, and statutory compliance
- Proven experience in inventory management and stock reconciliation
- Strong experience in sales computation, revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Proximity to Ojodu Berger/Magodo Brooks is a MUST.
