Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.
- Monitor daily sales, cash flow, and petty cash activities.
- Handle payroll computation and statutory deductions (PAYE, pension, etc.).
- Support the internal audit process and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Track inventory and liaise with store and procurement teams on stock reconciliation.
- Assist management with budget preparation and expense tracking.
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes and other financial obligations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to aid business decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit support.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and statutory deductions (PAYE, pension, etc.).
