Job Summary
A top ten (10) stockbroking firm duly licensed by the Nigerian Securities & Exchange Commission and the Nigerian Exchange Group, as a Securities Trading and Principal Investment Banking Firm to provide a comprehensive range of investment and financial advisory services to private, public sector, corporate and institutional clients, is currently seeking a competent Account Clerk for immediate employment. The Account Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing daily transactions, and assisting in the preparation of management reports. The ideal candidate should possess a sound understanding of basic accounting principles, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial data within a regulated stockbroking environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Post daily clients’ payments and withdrawal requests accurately
- Assist in the preparation of monthly bank account reconciliations
- Support in the generation of financial reports and bank statements
- Process and verify invoices, receipts, and petty cash expenses
- Support external and internal audit exercises with required documentation
- File and organise accounting records in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Assist in preparing tax schedules, statutory remittances and other regulatory reports
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in accounting, preferably within a stockbroking, investment, or financial services firm
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliation, and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Responsiveness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
