Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial statements and ratios to assess the borrower's financial health.
- Evaluate lending risks and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients and loan officers on credit decisions.
- Prepare loan applications and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Recommend credit limits for new customers.
- Verify the authenticity of provided documents.
- Ensure loan proposals comply with bank credit policy.
- Recommend adjustments to credit policies based on market trends.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution
- MCP is an added advantage
- proficiency in MS Office and core banking software applications
- Ability to navigate compliance issues
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Credit and portfolio management
- strong financial analysis and reporting skills
