The Account Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, supporting account reconciliation, and ensuring proper documentation of all company financial activities. The role supports smooth accounting operations and timely financial reporting.

Job Description/Requirements
- Record daily financial transactions and update accounting ledgers.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier balances.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and cashflow updates.
- Track and monitor account payables and receivables.
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams on payment matters.
- Assist the Accountant in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Requirements:
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
- Strong numerical accuracy and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
