Web Developer Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver curriculum content for web development courses (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, PHP, etc.).
• Provide hands-on coding instruction, demonstrations, and real-world project guidance.
• Conduct regular assessments, code reviews, and practical evaluations.
• Mentor students individually and in groups to ensure understanding and progress.
• Update and adapt the curriculum to reflect industry trends and modern web standards.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and project outlines.
• Ensure students adhere to project deadlines and maintain high-quality code standards.
• Collaborate with the academic team to improve instructional strategies and student outcomes.
• Participate in academy events, workshops, and open days.
• Maintain class attendance and student performance records.
• Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in class projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as a web developer with a solid project portfolio.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular).
• Strong understanding of back-end technologies (Node.js, PHP, Express, or Python frameworks).
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase)
• Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).
• Experience with hosting, deployment, and responsive design principles.
• Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for beginners.
