Upholsterer (Contract)

As an Upholsterer, you would be responsible to repair, maintain, and upholster furniture and curtain throughout the facility to ensure an attractive and well-maintained facility.

What will I be doing?

As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Visually inspect, diagnose problem with couches, chairs, and other upholstered furniture, takes measurements and makes necessary repairs. Responds to customer complaints pertaining to the upholstery of couches, chairs, and other furniture, takes measurements and makes necessary repairs. Performs shop work to repair or upholster new furniture. Applies preventive maintenance program to furniture. Maintains records on orders and repairs made to furniture. Maintains adequate supplies and materials in order to maintain the hotel’s upholstered furniture department when needed.

3 years housekeeping experience required Minimum of HND qualification  Previous industrial sewing experience required. Previous industrial sewing experience required. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and as a team
