Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure safe loading, transportation, and unloading of cargo.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips (oil, brakes, tires, etc.).
- Maintain delivery logs, mileage, and fuel records.
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Plan routes and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
- Report any mechanical faults, delays, or accidents.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured to prevent damage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver’s license suitable for heavy-duty/truck driving.
- Proven experience as a truck or heavy-duty driver.
- Good knowledge of road networks and safety regulations.
- Ability to drive long distances when required.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
