Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Take accurate measurements of clients to determine fitting and design requirements.
- Advise clients on garment styles, fabrics, patterns, and design modifications.
- Conduct fitting sessions with clients to mark, pin, and adjust garments for a precise fit.
- Press and steam finished garments to remove wrinkles and ensure a polished presentation.
- Inspect garments carefully for quality, stitching accuracy, and adherence to design specifications before client pickup.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines, sergers, irons, shears, and other tailoring tools.
- Keep track of tailoring supplies (threads, needles, zippers, buttons, interfacings) and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
