Supply chain Manager

Responsibilities:

• Management of the entire supply chain in cooperation with our HQ in Austria and various branch offices worldwide
• Handling and understanding of available products as well as logistics processes and customer demands
• Proactive interface and contact person for suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse contractors, and customers
•  Planning and booking of sea, railway, and freight transportation as well as handling customs operations
• Coordination with external warehouse providers and freight forwarders
• Other tasks and responsibilities depending on qualification and experience

Requirements:

• Higher education (Bachelor’s degree or higher)
• Two (2) years of experience as a supply chain manager or a similar position in logistics
• Strong business development skills
• Knowledge of commodities and markets
• Experience with ERP systems like MS Business Central or SAP
• Fluent English. Other languages such as German or Russian are of preference
• Excellent numeracy skills are a key element of this job as well as good communication skills.
• Ability to process problems and reach conclusions quickly
• Ability to be flexible and work to deadlines and under pressure
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and within tight deadlines.
• Accurate and efficient working style with good attention to detail to complete the daily processes
