Procurement General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for engineering and construction projects
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers of mechanical, electrical, and construction materials
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to understand material requirements
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites
• Monitor inventory levels and manage vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses for management review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• 4–5 years of proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer within an engineering or construction environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials and construction processes
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
• Ability to work with budgets, timelines, and multiple vendors
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
