Job Summary

Storekeepers keep stock of inventory and manage all operations in the store. From ordering, receiving to managing inventory, these professionals ensure safe custody of all store-related inventory.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, process, and document all merchandise received and paid for, assisting with inventory activities as necessary
  • Assist in receiving all merchandise from suppliers
  • Check all merchandise for discrepancies and damages
  • Sort merchandise according to pricing and location at the store
  • Store merchandise in the proper location to increase sales
  • Maintain stock levels by checking stock on hand against sales reports
  • Inventory items according to location and store policy


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of HND/BSc in any related discipline 
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in storekeeping or similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills
  • Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools
  • Excellent numerical and inventory skills
