Custxmer.com is a US consumer app startup that helps users manage all their service providers from one place, saving them time, money, and frustration. We are seeking highly motivated software engineering interns to join our team. As engineering interns, you will have the opportunity to learn and work on various technologies, including React-Native and backend technologies, and work to develop and maintain our platform. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Work with our founders to develop and maintain our platform.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to codebase improvements.
- Leverage APIs for deep integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional areas, including product and design, to ensure the best user experience.
- Continuously learn and explore new technologies and tools to improve our platform.
- Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
General Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a computer science, software engineering, or related program.
- Passion for software development and eagerness to learn.
- Experience with React-Native and backend technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Engineering Skills:
- Firm grasp of JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
- Ability to use React Native technology to build both Android and iOS applications.
- Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming.
- Write and maintain clean, reusable, and efficient code.
- Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha.
- A good understanding of TypeScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, and MongoDB technologies is a plus.
