Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into well-architected software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions, and contribute to improving development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Occasionally contribute to front-end development (e.g., Angular) or automate internal processes/scripting tasks using Python or similar tools.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software development and apply them where appropriate.
Requirements:
- 3–7+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong emphasis on C# and .NET (Core or Framework).
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side logic.
- Solid understanding of object-orientated programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework).
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Practical experience with Angular (v10+) or other modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue).
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, data processing, or API development.
- Experience with the integration of C# with external tools and frameworks.
- Exposure to message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) or event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and test automation frameworks.
