Job summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detailed oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development, evaluation, and improvement of Artificial intelligence. As the Backend Engineer you will play a critical role in training AI modes by reviewing, annotating, validating, and improving backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows
- Label datasets involving REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend workflows.
- Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards.
- Provide engineering reasoning and structured evaluation feedback.
- Evaluate server-side code performance and logic accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
- Understanding of authentication systems (OAuth, JWT, session Management).
- Evaluate server-side code performance and logic accuracy.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event- driven design.
- Review database queries, authentication systems, and microservices
- Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of databases such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 monthly
