Role Description
This is a volunteer, remote role for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing effective social media strategies, managing and optimizing social media platforms, developing engaging content, and interacting with the online community. Additional responsibilities include planning and scheduling posts, monitoring analytics, and ensuring cohesive brand representation across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Strong Communication and Writing skills
- Experience with Content Strategy and developing engaging content
- Familiarity with social media analytics and performance metrics
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a remote setting
- Knowledge of branding and audience engagement techniques
- Previous experience managing social media for community-focused organizations is a plus
