Senior Fullstack Developer

• Fullstack Development: Lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications using a stack that includes Node.js, React.js, Express.js, and Next.js.
  
• Backend Expertise: Architect, implement, and optimize server-side logic and APIs with a focus on efficiency, security, and data management using Express.js.
• Database Mastery: Design, maintain, and optimize databases in PostgreSQL and MySQL, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Version Control: Utilize Git for efficient code version control, branching, and merging, fostering collaboration within the development team.
• Microservices Architecture: Apply expertise in microservices architecture to design, build, and maintain flexible and scalable software solutions.
• Containerization with Docker: Create and manage Docker containers for streamlined deployment, maintaining consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
• Code Quality and Testing: Implement best coding practices, conduct rigorous code reviews, & perform unit and integration testing to deliver robust, error-free applications.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality software products within project timelines.
• Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and ensure the seamless operation of applications.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and system configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in building large-scale software applications
  
• Experience in building web applications
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of Ruby, Java/JRuby, React, and JavaScript
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Experience in unit/integration testing
• Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies.

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 300,000 monthly
