Job Summary

Our client, a reputable beauty salon is seeking to hire the services of a Salon Administrator who would also serve as a Social Media Manager. The Salon Administrator/Social Media Manager will be responsible for the salon’s day-to-day operations both online (on social media) and offline. She’d be responsible for supervising staff, scheduling shifts, promoting the salon’s services and keeping updated records of expenses and revenues. She will also help boost client satisfaction and increase revenues.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage reception duties, including appointment scheduling and inventory management.
  • Manage Inventory and Staff.
  • Ensure client comfort by warmly greeting and welcoming clients with a friendly smile, offering refreshments and magazines.
  • Maintain day-to-day operational standards of the salon.
  • Prepare and dispatch orders placed via the website.
  • Recruit salon staff who meets mandatory educational and experience requirements
  • Prepare work schedules for salon staff.
  • Set goals for each staff member, evaluate performance, provide training, and offer overall guidance.
  • Monitor salon supplies and equipment, and order new stock as needed.
  • Create and distribute promotional material to attract new clients.
  • Address and resolve client complaints regarding salon services and employee behaviour.
  • Process clients' payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the salon at all times.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of a bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a Salon Manager or similar role
  • Proven experience in managing a salon.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
