Job Summary

The Recovery Officer will be responsible for following up with clients to ensure timely repayment of loans and recover overdue payments. The ideal candidate will maintain a healthy loan portfolio, minimize default rates, and uphold excellent customer relationships while enforcing the company’s credit policies.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Monitor and follow up on due and overdue loan repayments.
Contact customers through calls, visits, and written communications to recover outstanding debts.
Maintain accurate records of all recovery activities.
Negotiate repayment schedules with defaulting customers where necessary.
Work closely with the credit and branch teams to prevent loan defaults.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports.
Recommend legal or appropriate actions for persistent defaulters.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Provide feedback on repayment trends and customer behavior to management
