Radiographer

• Operating Imaging Equipment: Must be proficient in operating various imaging modalities, including X-rays, MRI, and CT scans.
  
• Patient Preparation and Positioning: Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort and safety, while also positioning patients correctly to obtain the necessary images.
  
• Image Quality Control: Ensure that images are of high quality and that the equipment is maintained and calibrated properly.
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and collaborate on patient care. 
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with surgical procedures by operating imaging equipment (C-Arm) to guide surgeons during procedures. 
• Stay up-to-date on advancements in medical imaging through continuing education and training. 

Requirements:

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to accurately interpret medical images and contribute to effective patient care.
• Strong knowledge of and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols to ensure minimal exposure to patients, staff, and self.
• Experience in managing and maintaining accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
