Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Marketer (Automations) to join our Growth & E-commerce Operations team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Shopify store, implementing marketing automations, measuring & improving customer retention, and supporting growth initiatives across automation tools such as Zapier, Klaviyo, Typeform, et al.


This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience managing Shopify or automation-based marketing workflows who are looking to scale their technical and growth expertise in a fast-growing consumer brand.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the company’s Shopify storefront, including product setup, app integrations, and performance tracking.
  • Set up and maintain automations across tools like Zapier, Klaviyo, Typeform, et al.
  • Implement and manage email and retention marketing flows (e.g., abandoned cart, re-engagement, upsell sequences).
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering agencies to translate marketing ideas into working automations and digital experiences.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party apps that enhance store functionality and improve operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot integration and workflow issues across systems (Shopify, Klaviyo, et al, etc.).
  • Support Shopify content management and ensure updates are implemented correctly.
  • Create analytics reports to monitor retention performance.
  • Analyze automation data to identify opportunities for improved customer retention and operational efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure a smooth technical flow across customer touchpoints.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical marketing or e-commerce operations role.
  • Hands-on experience using tools that enhance digital experiences like Shopify, Zapier, Klaviyo, and Google Sheets/Excel automations.
  • Understanding of marketing automation, retention funnels, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with common tools in the marketing stack like Google analytics, Tag manager, email automation, et al.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities — able to figure out why something “isn’t connecting.”
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and apply them creatively to marketing workflows.
  • Ability to use no-code website builders and basic understanding of how HTML, CSS, and JS works.
