Marketing and Media Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute content strategies across digital channels.
• Create high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content.
• Manage social media platforms and monitor engagement.
• Collaborate with other teams to align marketing initiatives with brand goals.
• Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to achieve business objectives
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
• Manage and coordinate marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, and events
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Build and maintain relationships with media, vendors, and industry partners
• Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and performance metrics
• Assist in the development of marketing budgets and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
• Handle form-filling, documentation, and other administrative tasks as required.
• Be available for travel when necessary to support applicants and marketing and media-related activities.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Media/Marketing in Telecommunications, an Advertising Agency, including advertising, promotions, and events
• Proven experience in content creation and marketing.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with various social media tools and content management systems.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Must be a resident of Ibadan and available for a full-time on-site job.
