Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Coordinate procurement planning with various departments to align with operational needs.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Track orders and ensure the timely delivery of supplies.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records, reports, and documentation.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and ensure continuous supply chain improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS) is an asset.
- Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
