- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and audits.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all inventory transactions using ERP or digital inventory tools.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast needs, identify shortages or excesses, and minimize wastage.
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to manage reorder points and stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of medical products in line with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (healthcare or pharmaceutical sector preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational efficiency
