Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription and OTC medications in line with regulatory standards.
- Review prescriptions to confirm proper dosage, form, and usage instructions.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, possible side effects, and drug interactions.
- Offer clear, professional drug information and education to patients and caregivers.
- Evaluate and optimize medication regimens in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory protocols.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records.
- Monitor inventory, manage orders, and ensure safe drug storage.
- Support clinical care by working closely with doctors and healthcare teams.
- Resolve customer concerns and handle medication inquiries with empathy and care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a pharmacy or clinical setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology (B.Pharm or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of pharmacology, dosage forms, and drug interactions.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A patient-first mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
