Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide clear and professional drug information and counseling to patients and medical personnel.
- Monitor patient drug therapies for effectiveness, interactions, and side effects.
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs and pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and pharmaceutical laws.
- Keep accurate records of prescriptions and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy dispensing and clinical knowledge.
- Experience in drug therapy monitoring and patient counseling.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Registered Pharmacist with relevant licensing.
