A skilled and dedicated Paramedic to provide pre-hospital emergency medical care to individuals in urgent need. The Paramedic will be responsible for assessing injuries, administering life-saving interventions, and ensuring safe transport of patients to medical facilities.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Emergency Response:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ conditions, provides immediate medical care, and stabilizes them before hospital transport
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition and providing necessary emergency care en route.
- Accurately record patient assessments, treatments administered, and other critical details to ensure continuity of care and legal compliance.
- Communicate effectively with emergency room staff, doctors, and nurses to relay patient information and ensure seamless transfer of care.
- Maintain, inspect, and ensure all medical equipment and supplies are in optimal condition for emergency response.
- Act in the best interest of patients by providing compassionate care, ensuring their needs are met, and upholding their rights during emergency situations.
Leadership & Supervision:
- Supervise and mentor a team of paramedics, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate daily operations, including shift schedules, resource allocation, and vehicle readiness.
Call Center Oversight:
- Oversee the daily operations of the emergency call center.
- Ensure all emergency calls are appropriately dispatched and managed within response time standards.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs for paramedics and call center personnel to maintain high standards of service and compliance.
- Assist in the orientation and ongoing training of new and current paramedics.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to emergency medical services and call center operations.
- Conduct routine audits of documentation, equipment maintenance, and medical supplies.
- Participate in quality improvement programs, identifying areas for service enhancement and training needs
- Prepare and submit reports on performance, incident outcomes, and operational metrics to senior management
Requirements:
- HND or ND in a related field.
- Paramedics from UBTH have a competitive edge.
Remuneration: NGN 120,000 - 150,000 Monthly
