Obstetrics & Gynaecologist

Responsibilities:

• Provide a consultant-led service with the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines.
• Maintain excellent working practices.
• Promote close collaboration with colleagues, other departments, and primary care providers.
• Offer educational, clinical support and leadership to junior medical and nursing colleagues.
• Ensure clinical performance metrics are available to measure and benchmark the quality of services.
• Participate in reviewing service quality, explaining causes of success and failure, and maintaining high standards.
• Model professional leadership, demonstrating the values and behaviors expected from the medical workforce.

Requirements:

• Minimum educational qualification of MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery).
• Specialist training in obstetrics and gynecology is mandatory.
• Proven experience in providing consultant-led services in a clinical setting.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills to guide junior staff effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and continuous quality improvement.
• Proficiency in using clinical performance metrics to monitor and enhance service delivery.

Work schedule:

• Room and board provided
• 10 days on, 20 days off
