Neurosurgeon

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage disorders affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system.
• Perform neurosurgical procedures, including cranial, spinal, and trauma-related surgeries.
• Evaluate patients through physical examinations, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized surgical and post-operative treatment plans.
• Manage emergency neurosurgical and trauma cases effectively.
• Monitor patients’ recovery and provide post-surgical follow-up care.
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, anesthetists, ICU teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in on-call coverage and emergency response services.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and surgical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and clinical protocols.
• Mentor junior doctors and contribute to medical education and clinical research initiatives.

Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Fellowship qualification in Neurosurgery (FWACS, FMCS, or equivalent).
• Valid practicing license with MDCN.
• Minimum of 10–15 years post-specialization experience in Neurosurgery.
• Proven expertise in complex neurosurgical procedures.
• Strong understanding of neurosurgical technologies and critical care management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
