Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients in accordance with established medical protocols.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior medical staff and interns.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and healthcare protocols.
- Participate in regular training and development activities to stay updated with medical advancements.
- Support the hospital’s operations, including emergency response and on-call duties where required.
- Ensure adherence to medical ethics and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of post-NYSC clinical experience (eye care experience is an advantage).
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of integrity and professional conduct.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
