Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist with comprehensive multi-bench expertise in hematology, microbiology, and chemical pathology. The ideal candidate must be a proficient phlebotomist (including neonatal phlebotomy), hold a current practicing license, and be ready to resume immediately.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses across multiple disciplines, including hematology, microbiology, and chemical pathology.
- Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages, including neonates.
- Accurately record, analyze, and interpret lab results, ensuring quality and compliance with medical standards.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.
- Collaborate with medical personnel to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic results.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols and ethical standards.
- Prepare and manage lab reports and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience with demonstrated multi-bench expertise.
- Strong competencies in hematology, microbiology, and chemical pathology.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with neonates.
- Must hold a valid/current practicing license with relevant medical regulatory bodies.
- Reside in or around Magodo Phase 2 and available to resume work immediately.
- Preferably female (for gender balance purposes).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and commitment to patient care.
