MVG Entertainment Ltd is seeking a forward-thinking, creative, and data-driven Marketing Strategist to spearhead the company’s marketing direction and strengthen its brand presence across the African and global entertainment landscape. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping MVG’s public image by developing and executing projects.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute disruptive marketing strategies for artist rollouts, live events, and brand campaigns.
  • Track trends in music, youth culture, and digital media to keep MVG ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with artists, creative teams, and external partners to build stories that travel — from Lagos to the world.
  • Manage cross-platform campaigns (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube), including influencer activations and paid media
  • Oversee PR, brand partnerships, and event promotions that amplify artist visibility.
  • Analyse campaign performance and translate data into actionable growth insights.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, rollout timelines, and budgets for precision execution.
  • Drive community-building efforts around MVG artists and content — turning fans into loyal supporters.


Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of entertainment marketing, digital strategy, and brand storytelling.
  • Proven ability to design and manage creative campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics and performance tools (Chartmetric, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, YouTube Studio, Mailchimp, Canva, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills — able to bridge artists, executives, and creatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • Experience in music or youth-culture-focused brands is a major plus.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Growth in artist and label engagement across DSPs and socials.
  • Increase in streaming, followers, and conversion metrics.
  • Consistent on-time campaign delivery within budget.
  • High-impact PR placements and playlist inclusions.
  • Tangible ROI from ads, influencer pushes, and collaborations.
