Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and creative Marketing Lead to take ownership of our marketing function. This role requires a strong grasp of both traditional and digital marketing within the FMCG sector, with an added appreciation for the value of sustainability, traceability, and farm-to-table narratives. You will be responsible for building and executing the brand strategy, developing consumer and retail marketing campaigns, overseeing product launches, and communicating the unique story of our farm-backed product lines.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Management:

  • Define and implement a cohesive brand strategy that integrates our farming story and FMCG product offerings.
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels.
  • Build brand equity and consumer trust by highlighting our farm-to-table value chain.


Marketing Campaigns & Execution:

  • Plan and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Lead ATL (TV, radio, print) and BTL (on-ground activations, in-store promotions) initiatives.
  • Oversee digital marketing, including social media, SEO/SEM, influencer partnerships, and content marketing.


Product Marketing:

  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to launch new products, with compelling go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to inform product positioning.
  • Develop packaging, merchandising, and in-store branding strategies.


Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and grow a high-performing marketing team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, farm operations, and product development teams.


Performance & Budget Management:

  • Set KPIs, monitor marketing ROI, and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring high-impact results within budget constraints.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, brand development, and FMCG sales channels.
  • Proven experience in digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Exposure to or interest in agricultural supply chains, sustainability, or farm-based brands is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000
