The role


We’re looking for a self-driven individual to join the highly ambitious FastFast team to revolutionise the way people perceive grocery shopping across Nigeria and subsequently the wider Africa. The successful candidate should have a customer driven and visionary mindset to build an aspirational brand that empowers people to be the best versions of themselves, live life to its fullest and in turn take pride in being associated with the brand. Key responsibilities 



·       Effectively plan and manage marketing activities from the initial briefing stage through to development and execution on time and on budget to help achieve the company’s goals and objectives. 


·       Ensuring the FastFast brand stays ahead of constantly evolving market trends and consumer preferences.


·       Support the development of a fully integrated CRM system with a well-defined funnel and customer journey automation strategy to create a personalised experience and support the business’s desired speed of growth.


·       Contribute towards enhancing the company’s cultural values throughout the organisation via the creation of video training modules with support from video production agencies.


·       Co-ordinate, project manage and support the Country Manager with store launches across Nigeria by making the relevant marketing materials, from print to digital, readily available within favourable timescales.


·       Develop and execute innovative campaign ideas that boosts consumer engagement and loyalty while raising significant brand awareness through User Generated Content.


·       Establish and develop relationships with suppliers across categories such as video production, marketing agencies, printers and branded merchandise.


·       Analyse consumer behaviour and contribute to the development of the FastFast user interface and experience.


·       Develop monthly and quarterly reports on marketing performance and acquisition costs for further optimisation.


·       Manage the company’s dedicated in-country social media channels, post regular content and engage with consumers.


·       Hire, lead, and develop a great team.




·       Have a marketing or business related degree.


·       5+ years of marketing experience, preferably but not necessarily within the sector.


·       Must be goal driven and have a desire to work in a dynamic start-up environment.


·       Must be proactive, positive mindset and problem-solving approach.


·       Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.


·       Strong project management and proven experience in developing marketing plans and campaigns.


·       An understanding of the grocery / convenience market, and a willingness to disrupt the way it currently operates.


·       Experience with CRMs and an understanding of marketing funnels and automation.


·       Excellent attention to detail.


·       IT proficient with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


·       Ideal understanding of the adobe creative cloud tools.
