Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and contractual matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Represent the company in negotiations, disputes, and litigation when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare reports and legal opinions for management and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external counsel and legal service providers as needed.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law and a valid license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience as a corporate, commercial, or in-house lawyer.
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
