Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from design sketches and job cards to create clothing items, including Joggers, hoodies, Sweatshirt, polo, Sweatpants, Trousers, and Shirts
- Take accurate measurements to ensure precise measurements on the garments.
- Ability to work with various textures of fabrics and materials, considering factors such as stretch allowance, and the most suitable machineries to use based on the styles to be made.
- Cut, sew, and assemble garments, paying close attention to quality and craftsmanship.
- Make adjustments and alterations as needed to achieve the perfect fit.
- Keep detailed records of job cards, customer orders, and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sewing machines and equipment.
- Collaborate with the design team to provide input on fabric selection and design concepts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor, with a focus on men's clothing.
- Strong sewing and garment construction skills.
- Proficiency in working with various fabrics and materials.
- Attention to detail and precision in all work.
- Ability to interpret design sketches and customer requests.
