Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing common areas and workspaces.
- Deep clean and maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, meeting rooms, and other designated areas.
- Empty and dispose of trash, recycling, and waste materials appropriately.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and report any maintenance requirements or issues promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Notify management of any building maintenance or facility-related concerns.
- Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism in all areas of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Janitor/Cleaner, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, techniques, and equipment usage.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to report cleaning needs, supply shortages, and maintenance issues.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
