Job Summary

An IT/Media Officer includes technical IT support like network and hardware maintenance, media & communications tasks such as content creation, social media management and public relations. The role requires a blend of technical and creative skills to manage digital platforms, produce content and maintain both technical and public-facing operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
Manage and maintain servers (Physical and virtual).
Oversee network devices and ensure network security.
Provide effective and efficient technical support to staff.
Develop and implement media strategies and campaigns.
Create high-quality written content, including press releases, briefings, and website maintenance.
Manage and produce content for social media platforms.
Maintain and build relationships with media, influencers, and other stakeholders.
Produce media assets like graphics, videos, and infographics.
Monitor media coverage, online engagement, and performance report.
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase accessibility.

Requirements:

Minimum of a B.Sc. qualification
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Candidate must live around the Ajah/Sangotedo axis for easy commute.
