Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role as an Inventory Officer at Viewpoint Publication Limited in Port-Harcourt. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels, conducting regular audits, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient stock management.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly & annual material consumption & requirement reports.
- Maintain the store inventory level in view of monthly consumption.
- Supervise store activities.
- Take inventory of all received goods from Suppliers and Vendors.
- Maintain proper store records for all items brought in or checked out by the press for use in production.
- Job work transactions (send and take receipts of job work material used, and keep proper records).
- Issue raw materials and other consumables to the departments concerned.
- Prepare goods receipt notes to the management.
- Receive goods from customers.
- Store management maintains an adequate stock level.
- Maintain profitable inventory control and submit a daily report of current store records.
- Monitor and keep a record of all office supplies while keeping track of all incoming and outgoing items in the store.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in Accounting, Inventory/Stock Management, Store management, Audit Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
