Job Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. The role involves managing the recruitment and selection process, overseeing employee relations, fostering a positive workplace culture and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company.


Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and events to boost morale and productivity.


Performance Management:

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related issues.
  • Develop and oversee employee development and training programs.


HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Manage payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries.


HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve organizational performance.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget.
