The HMO officer will serve as a liaison between the Health Maintenance Organisations (HMOs) and the medical team ensuring prompt provision of approved medical services for the HMOs enrollees and will also ensure prompt processing of enrollees bills and payment by the HMOs.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with HMOs, which are essentially health insurance providers.
- Ensuring that healthcare services are provided seamlessly for patients covered by HMO plans.
- Verifying patient eligibility and obtaining necessary pre-authorizations or approvals from HMOs.
- Ensuring that all necessary documentation and billing procedures are followed for HMO patients.
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of patient information, medical histories, and treatments.
- Explaining HMO benefits, eligibility, and enrollment procedures to enrollees.
- Performing administrative duties such as preparing work schedules, updating databases, and handling correspondence.
- Ensuring compliance with national guidelines, regulations, and departmental policies
- Proficiency in using office equipment, such as computers, phones, and other basic office equipment, is often required
- Minimum of HND in any field of study
