Job summary
The Head of Project Management Office (PMO) leads the overall project delivery function of X-Force Engineering Limited. The role provides strategic and operational oversight of the company’s project portfolio and directs key operational units including HSE, Project Planning, QA/QC, Construction Operations, and Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight to the PMO and its operational units to ensure efficient and coordinated project delivery across all active projects.
- Establish and enforce project management standards, delivery frameworks, and governance processes across the company’s project portfolio.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure effective execution and timely completion of projects.
- Ensure strong HSE compliance across all sites and promote a culture of safety and regulatory adherence.
- Supervise QA/QC processes and quantity surveying functions to ensure quality standards, effective cost control, variation management, and accurate project reporting.
- Serve as the senior client interface on project delivery matters, resolving issues and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on project performance, risks, resource utilisation, and delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12–15 years’ experience in engineering project management or construction delivery, including experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- COREN registration and membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) required.
- Professional certification in PMP or PRINCE2 and strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience managing project planners, HSE officers, QA/QC teams, site engineers, and quantity surveyors across multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of construction operations, contract administration, cost control, and project risk management.
- Familiarity with Nigerian procurement regulations and engineering contract frameworks such as FIDIC or NEC.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to oversee complex, multi-project portfolios.
Remuneration: NGN 1 Million - 1.2 Million
