Head of Project Management Office

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight to the PMO and its operational units to ensure efficient and coordinated project delivery across all active projects.
• Establish and enforce project management standards, delivery frameworks, and governance processes across the company’s project portfolio.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure effective execution and timely completion of projects.
• Ensure strong HSE compliance across all sites and promote a culture of safety and regulatory adherence.
• Supervise QA/QC processes and quantity surveying functions to ensure quality standards, effective cost control, variation management, and accurate project reporting.
• Serve as the senior client interface on project delivery matters, resolving issues and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on project performance, risks, resource utilisation, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12–15 years’ experience in engineering project management or construction delivery, including experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• COREN registration and membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) required.
• Professional certification in PMP or PRINCE2 and strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Experience managing project planners, HSE officers, QA/QC teams, site engineers, and quantity surveyors across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of construction operations, contract administration, cost control, and project risk management.
• Familiarity with Nigerian procurement regulations and engineering contract frameworks such as FIDIC or NEC.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to oversee complex, multi-project portfolios.

Remuneration: NGN 1 Million - 1.2 Million
