Operation Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all operational activities, including procurement, logistics, supply chain, and maintenance, to achieve operational excellence and meet organizational goals.
• Develop and implement effective strategies and procedures to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency and sales.
• Coordinate resources for plants, as well as ensuring adequate stock of company products
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvement initiatives and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth operations and maximize business opportunities.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and forecasts, controlling expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and a high-performing work environment.
• Provide updated reports on all elements of operations across the plants
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, recommending innovative solutions to enhance operational processes.

Requirements:

• HND/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in Operations management
• Strong knowledge of Oil and gas operations, processes, and industry regulations is an asset
• Technical hands-on skill in operations, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment is required
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, implement process improvements, and achieve results.
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards and their application in an operational setting.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
