Operations & Execution Manager

Responsibilities:

• Translate KEEN Africa's strategic goals into quarterly objectives, monthly milestones and weekly deliverables.
• Coordinate the Platform Lead and Content Lead without micromanaging their specialist work.
• Maintain a single source of truth for tasks, deadlines, owners, blockers and progress.
• Prepare weekly work plans so team members know what they own and can begin without waiting for the founder.
• Run one short weekly planning meeting and maintain asynchronous progress updates.
• Identify delays, dependencies and recurring problems, and propose solutions.
• Document repeatable workflows, onboarding procedures and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives such as product launches, content campaigns, institutional pilots and funding applications.
• Send the founder a concise weekly report covering achievements, risks, decisions needed and next priorities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• A minimum of a degree in a related field 

First 90-day outcomes:

1. Days 1–30: Audit current activities, clarify ownership and establish the team's central task board, weekly reporting and meeting rhythm.
2. Days 31–60: Run the operating system independently, identify bottlenecks and ensure both existing leads have clear weekly outcomes.
3. Days 61–90: Demonstrate consistent delivery, fewer founder interventions and documented processes that someone else could follow.

How performance will be measured:

• Percentage of committed deliverables completed on time.
• Reduction in tasks waiting for founder instructions.
• Number of recurring operational bottlenecks resolved.
• Reliability of weekly reporting and planning.
• Clarity of ownership and feedback from the team.
