General Manager

• The general manager will be responsible for the overall management of the food and agriculture systems hub
• Developing and implementing the hub's strategic plan.
• Overseeing the hub's operations and finances.
• Recruiting and managing staff.
• Building relationships with stakeholders.
• Promoting the hub's work to the public
• The general manager will play a critical role in the success of the food and agriculture systems hub.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture, business administration, or economics.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in the food and agriculture industry, preferably in a management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Wide understanding of the Nigerian food and agriculture sector.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  
• Knowledge of Nigerian government policies, regulations and agencies related to food and agriculture.
• Experience in fundraising and grant writing.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in marketing and communications.
• Experience in working with farmers and other stakeholders in the food and agriculture sector.
