Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, secure, and reusable PHP and JavaScript code.
- Implement responsive UI/UX designs using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration workflows.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues as needed.
- Stay updated with best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework (v8+ preferred).
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and a JS framework like Vue.js, React, or Alpine.js.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
- Experience with Git and version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
- Experience with authentication systems (OAuth, JWT, Laravel Sanctum/Passport).
- Basic knowledge of deployment tools and server environments (Apache, Nginx, Laravel Forge, and Docker is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of unit testing with PHPUnit or Pest.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, or Azure.
