Job Summary
The Finance and Accounts Officer will assist in managing the day-to-day financial activities of the organization, including record keeping, reconciliations, payments, and reporting. The role holder will work closely with and report directly to the Finance Manager.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and documentation.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Process invoices, payments, claims, and reimbursements in line with approved policies.
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly.
- Support statutory remittances and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Support the Finance Manager in implementing internal controls and financial procedures.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 1–2 years’ relevant experience in accounting or finance (experience in an HMO or healthcare environment is an advantage).
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Student membership of ICAN or ANAN will be an added advantage.
