We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to maintain databases and keep the documentation department of the company up to date.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Set up database system, ensure that system operates efficiently, store, modify, and extract information from a database, distribution, documentation
  • Handle the process of developing the database and maintaining the database of COSON;
  • Define the internal layout of the database and ensures the internal layout optimizes system performance;
  • Store in the database and organizes data in the database so that it can be accessed easily on requirement;
  • Prepare documentation, including recording the procedures, standards, guidelines, and data descriptions necessary for the efficient and continuing use of the database environment;
  • Monitor the database environment, such as seeing that the database is meeting performance standards, and making sure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data are maintained;
  • Manage any enhancements to the database environment;
  • Initiate and coordinates internal designs;
  • Liaise with Finance & Administration for efficient and timely payment of royalties;
  • Work with the Communication team to maintain and update COSON’s membership information;
  • Create backups of data in safe storage mediums;
  • Enlighten/Educate owners of musical works and sound recordings on copyright matters;
  • Address copyright owners’ concerns;
  • Document agreements for members;
  • Work with the Communication team to manage the production of membership materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, and e-newsletters;
  • Work with the Communication team to initiate and evaluate membership campaigns;
  • Manage artists, publishers, and record companies relations;
  • Work with the Communication & New Media team to organize membership events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions;
  • Provide information for the database; Work with the Communications & New Media teams to maintain and update COSON’s membership information· Work with the Communications and New Media team to maintain and update COSON’s website regularly;
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by Management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years of working experience
  • Technical skills
  • Communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
