Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine cost factors.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
- Evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Track project costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare reports and documentation for management review.
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- 3–5 years’ experience as a cost estimator in construction or engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in cost-estimating software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
